Mike Sigal, Founder, StatsBank
Mike Sigal is an entrepreneur, consultant and advisor with over 20 years' experience working in the global startup ecosystem.
Mike recently founded StatsBank, which is developing innovative solutions to address the financing gap experienced by many of the world's estimated 200M small businesses. He is the author of the forthcoming book "Innovating with Startups: A Corporate Field Guide" and he advises corporations and government agencies on how to engage the global startup ecosystem to accelerate innovation. Mike serves as a non-executive director for Guidewire Group, Executive Producer of the SWIFT Innotribe Startup Challenge, as an advisor to the Innovation Accelerator and Stanford/MIT Venture Lab, and as a Mentor for 500Startups and SeedCamp.
Previously, Mike co-founded Guidewire Group, and was responsible for the company's business development and strategic relationships, as well as leading the development of Guidewire Group's G/Score. Developed under a grant from the US National Science Foundation and in partnership dozens of leading corporations, investors and government innovation agencies, the G/Score is the world's first standardized diagnostic tool for assessing and benchmarking pre-revenue startups.
Prior to founding Guidewire Group, Mike co-founded several companies including FM WAVES (acquired by Blizzard Entertainment), Infragence (acquired by Rainmaker Systems), and WiFinder (acquired by Boingo).
