Gary Singer, Partner, O'Melveny & Myers LLP

Gary Singer is a partner in O'Melveny's Newport Beach office. He is the former Chair of the Transactions Department and the former Managing Partner of the Newport Beach office. He practices corporate, business, and securities law, with a focus on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate financing matters. Mr Singer's breadth of legal experience enables him to successfully represent a broad range of interests, from family-owned businesses to large public companies.

Mr. Singer is admitted to Practice at the US District Court, Central District of California, and California State Bar. He is the former President of UC Irvine Chancellor's Club and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. He is also the former Chair of the Orange County Bar Association, Corporate and Business Law Section; the California Chamber of Commerce, Committee on Product Liability and Tort Reform; and the Irvine Barclay Theatre.

Mr. Singer was named as one of the “The Best Lawyers in America” Corporate Law, M&A Law, and Securities Law categories in 2012. He has been recognized as a Southern California “Super Lawyer” by Los Angeles Magazine from the years 2005-2012, and by Chambers USA as one of “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” for the years 2004, 2005, and 2006.
